So, it’s been some time since I updated this, I admit. Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging, and that has been the case with me. So, what’s been going on? Well, since I last wrote, the cinema I was working for got taken over by another company, things got bad, and I found myself another job setting up a centre for literature, literacy and free expression instead. In many ways this is a homecoming for me, as I LOVE books even more than I love films, so to work in the literary world is a dream come true. However, setting up a new centre has been time consuming and it meant that when I finally published my first little novel (buy it on Amazon today!) it was in the midst of so many other things that I ignored it and so here we are a year later, with a bit of time to set things right. I’ll still write about cinema, but now it will be a sideshow to the main act of books, books, books. You can check out the books I currently own and am reading on my Shelfari page. Shelfari is a bit clunky, but is the best tool I’ve seen to catalogue people’s book collections (more about book collections in a future post). Right now I’m deep into the lovely The Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff – what are you reading?
